A single-stock point and shoot for iPhone. You frame, you press, and you get a developed photograph.
Every frame is a single native Bayer RAW exposure, developed in the app through one recipe called kiek type 1. The raw negative is saved next to the photograph, every time.
iOS 17 and later. Any iPhone that shoots RAW.
Kiek is €2.99 a month after a one-week free trial, or the equivalent in your region. It renews until you cancel it in the App Store.
The subscription covers taking photographs. The roll and the darkroom stay open whether or not you subscribe, so photographs you have already taken are always yours to look at, develop again and export.
To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and choose Kiek.
Can I change the look?
No. Kiek has one stock and no picker. That is the product rather than a limitation.
Where are my photographs?
In your own photo library, in an album called Kiek. The developed HEIC and the raw DNG are saved together on every frame.
Does kiek send anything anywhere?
No photograph and no data about you leaves your phone. The only network kiek uses is the App Store, to check whether the subscription is current. See the privacy policy.
The viewfinder does not show the look.
That is deliberate. The viewfinder is an eyepiece for framing. What the stock does to a picture, you see in your camera roll.
