Kiek is a camera app for iPhone. This policy covers the app and this website.
Nothing.
There is no account and nothing to sign into. Kiek has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party software development kits of any kind. Nothing about you or about how you use the app is gathered, stored on a server, or sent anywhere.
Photographs stay on your iPhone, in your own photo library. Kiek writes the developed HEIC and the raw DNG into that library and nowhere else. It does not upload them, copy them off the device, or read photographs it did not take.
Kiek asks for read access to your photo library only when you open the roll, and uses it to show you its own photographs and to develop their negatives again.
Optional. If you allow it, kiek writes the location into the photograph itself, in the same way any camera does. That location goes into your file, in your library. It is never sent anywhere. If you refuse, the photograph carries no location and nothing else changes.
Kiek keeps a diagnostic log on the device. It records exposures, timings and faults, so that something going wrong can be explained. It contains no photographs and nothing about you.
The log never leaves your phone unless you send it. Settings has a control that copies it to the clipboard, so you can paste it into a message to support if you choose to.
The one network connection kiek makes is to Apple's App Store, to check whether your subscription is current. Apple handles the purchase. Kiek never sees your payment details, your Apple Account, or your name.

Kiek is not directed at children and collects nothing from anybody, of any age.
These pages set no cookies and run no analytics.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
